Terms of Service

1. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 and legally able to accept these Terms, or use the service through a legally authorized arrangement where permitted by law. Provide accurate account information and use only accounts and data you are authorized to access. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in links, password, devices, and integration tokens and for the access you grant to others.

If you help another adult use HeyRemi, obtain their permission or the legal authority needed. Being a family member does not automatically authorize access to someone else's private conversations, email, or calendar.

2. What HeyRemi does

HeyRemi offers features such as text and voice conversations, language practice, reminders, editable memory, email assistance, calendar connections, and authorized MCP access. Availability depends on your account, permissions, configuration, and the rollout of each feature. We may set usage limits or change features to maintain the service.

HeyRemi is not a medical service, emergency response system, or substitute for professional advice or human care. Do not rely on it to detect emergencies, monitor health, guarantee reminders, or make consequential medical, legal, or financial decisions. Contact local emergency services for urgent help.

3. AI output and actions

AI can produce inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate responses, translations, summaries, and classifications. Check important information independently. Language selection and voice output are assistance features, not guarantees of linguistic accuracy.

Review recipients, message text, event details, dates, times, and time zones before confirming an external action. Email sending and Google Calendar event creation or updates require explicit confirmation in the supported workflow. Your confirmation authorizes the displayed action; once delivered, an email may not be recoverable. Some local actions, such as deleting an imported copy or excluding a sender, take effect immediately.

Connections may fail or become delayed, and an external service may complete an action even if HeyRemi does not receive its acknowledgment. Follow the displayed delivery or reconciliation status before retrying.

4. Connected services and MCP

You choose whether to connect Gmail, Yahoo, Google Calendar, or other supported services. You authorize HeyRemi to access and process data within the permissions you grant to provide the corresponding features. You can disconnect integrations, subject to retained information described in the Privacy Policy.

Third-party accounts, AI providers, and apps connected through MCP are subject to their own terms. We do not control their availability or independent handling of information. Keep MCP tokens private and grant only the access you intend. Revoking access cannot undo information already shared or actions already completed.

5. Your content and permitted use

You retain your rights in content you provide. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit, and display that content as needed to provide the service you request, subject to our Privacy Policy and your permissions. This permission does not transfer ownership to us or authorize sale of your personal data. AI output may not be unique, and we cannot guarantee that it is protectable or free of third-party rights.

Do not use HeyRemi unlawfully; access another person's account without authorization; send spam, fraud, or abusive messages; violate privacy or intellectual property rights; interfere with security; bypass access or usage controls; or attempt to extract other users' information. Use shared and family features with the affected person's permission.

Our software, branding, and other service materials remain ours or our licensors'. These Terms permit use of the service; they do not transfer rights in those materials.

6. Fees, availability, and ending use

If a paid plan is offered, its price, billing period, limits, renewal terms, and cancellation information will be presented before purchase. Merely enabling a connected account does not authorize an undisclosed charge. Any separate purchase terms and mandatory consumer protections apply.

You may stop using HeyRemi at any time and request account closure at contact@tao-corp.com. We may restrict or suspend access for a material breach, security risk, legal requirement, or service discontinuation. Where practical, we will give notice and an opportunity to address the issue. Data handling after closure follows the Privacy Policy.

7. Warranties and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, HeyRemi is provided "as is" and "as available," without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, error-free AI, complete synchronization, or delivery of every reminder.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by reliance on incorrect AI output. These exclusions do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable mandatory consumer rights, fraud, or willful misconduct. Nothing here removes protections you have under applicable law.

8. Florida law and disputes

These Terms are governed by Florida law, USA, without applying conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence provide otherwise. Subject to those mandatory rights, disputes may be brought in the competent state or federal courts located in Miami-Dade County, Florida. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. These Terms do not require arbitration or waive class-action rights.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date. We will provide notice of material changes through the service or another appropriate channel and seek agreement when required by law. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
